Come celebrate the talent and growth of our beginner- intermediate students. Performing can be scary, especially to beginning students. Our Summer Concert series is designed to be a low pressure solution that is more like a Open Mic night with a program. It gives beginning to intermediate students a chance to perform without the pressure of a dress rehearsal.
An Accompanist is also provided for students who wish to use it instead of a track.
We hope to make this a yearly series occurring on the third Saturday of the month from June-August

New Brighton Location:
Stage 1011- right next to BMC!
- 12:30-12:45 PM – This is the call time for Students arrive and Check in. Check in person will direct students where to leave cases and personal items. This would also be the time to families to find their seats
- 1:00- Concert starts! Space is limited to 20 students to keep program under 60 minutes
🪑 Seating & Parking
Audience seating is first come, first served behind the student section. Accessible seating available upon request. Street parking available
🎵 For Performers
Students should arrive on time for dress rehearsal with their instrument and music. Everything else will be provided. Teachers will walk students through performance order and warm-ups.
Each student will perform a piece selected with their teacher. Some may perform duets or group pieces, if approved in advance.
👗 What to Wear
Dress like you would for a school concert or formal event.
✔️ Dresses, dress pants, dark jeans, collared shirts, nice shoes
❌ No ripped clothing, athletic wear, flip-flops, or casual hats
🍪 Cookie Table & Recording
- Yes to cookies! If bringing homemade treats, please label allergens.
Recordings are TBD, But if they happen, families will receive a private YouTube link to individual performances after the event.
