How to Cancel Lessons
We understand that schedules change and life happens. Whether you need to cancel a single lesson or stop your subscription entirely, we’re here to help make the process smooth and respectful for both students and teachers.
Canceling a Single Lesson
- Step 1: Contact Your Teacher Directly
Let your teacher know as soon as possible if you need to miss a lesson. - More than 24 Hours’ Notice:
If you give more than a day’s notice, your teacher may offer either:
– A rescheduled lesson, depending on availability
– Or a credit toward the following month - Less than 24 Hours’ Notice:
Cancellations made with short notice are up to teacher discretion. They may offer a credit, a reschedule, or consider the lesson forfeited.
Canceling Your Lesson Subscription
- Step 1: Notify Your Teacher
Please talk with your teacher before canceling your subscription. They’re your primary contact for scheduling and planning. - Step 2: Contact the Lesson Coordinator
You can also email our Lesson Coordinator at lessons@brightonmusic.com, but we will ask if the teacher has already been informed. - Timing Matters:
Tuition is non-refundable once the month begins, so we highly encourage students to complete the current month of lessons. - Cancel or Pause Subscription:
If you need to cancel or pause your subscription, please notify both your teacher and the Lesson Coordinator at least 1 week before the end of the month to avoid being billed for the next month.
