SUMMARY:Young Artist's Premier Workshop - Final Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the final concert to end the semester of our Young Artist’s Premier Workshop!\n\n\nDisclaimer:  This class is not encouraged for the absolute beginner.  Participants should have >6 months of playing experience.  This course will require students to be able to play “lead” melodies\, as well as chords. \nOur Young Artist’s Premier Workshop is a small group band consisting of 5 instruments; Guitar\, Piano\, Bass Guitar\, Percussion\, and Vocals. Students will be able to learn the basics of being in a band. Including but not limited to; set up and tear down of equipment\, equipment maintenance\, practicing in a group setting\, organizing a set list\, and best of all performing together! \n\n\nClass Dates:\n– March 12 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– March 26 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– April 9 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– April 23 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– May 7 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– May 21 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– Concert Date – May 23rd \n\n\nThe class consists of 6 practices and 1 performance. All classes are 90 minutes for students to set up and tear down all equipment from BMC to the Library and back again. The Performance is the last day and Times are subject to change based on teacher’s availability\, and weather. \nTo ensure a balanced band\, we are limiting instrument slots to 3 each. Recitals are here!!\nRegister here for Saturday May 16\, Register anytime before May 2!\nSpots are limited to 30 private lesson students\, performing 1 song each to keep the program as close to an hour as possible. If you cannot register for this one\, DON’T WORRY! We have plans for June\, July and August\, and those dates will be announced soon. \n  \nThe Day will be planned like it has been in the past with a Dress rehearsal prior to the concert. \n\n12:15-1:30 – Dress Rehearsal (students only\, we will open doors when finished)\n1:30 PM – Doors open\n2:00 PM – Recital begins\n\nI would recommend that students come fed and prepared to perform for their peers so things can run smoothly. \n  \nOther Things to Know \n🪑 Seating & Parking \n\nAudience seating is first come\, first served behind the student section. Accessible seating available upon request.\nThere is Street Parking in the front of the Church and side streets \n\n🎵 For Performers \n\nStudents should arrive on time for dress rehearsal with their instrument and music. Everything else will be provided. DESCRIPTION:Join us for this group class!\n\n\nDisclaimer:  This class is not encouraged for the absolute beginner.  Participants should have >6 months of playing experience.  This course will require students to be able to play “lead” melodies\, as well as chords. \nOur Young Artist’s Premier Workshop is a small group band consisting of 5 instruments; Guitar\, Piano\, Bass Guitar\, Percussion\, and Vocals. Students will be able to learn the basics of being in a band. Including but not limited to; set up and tear down of equipment\, equipment maintenance\, practicing in a group setting\, organizing a set list\, and best of all performing together! \n\n\nClass Dates:\n– March 12 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– March 26 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– April 9 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– April 23 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– May 7 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– May 21 | 5:30-7:00pm\n– Concert Date – May 23rd \n\n\nThe class consists of 6 practices and 1 performance. All classes are 90 minutes for students to set up and tear down all equipment from BMC to the Library and back again. No drums are provided\, you are more than welcome to bring a small travel kit or hand drums of choice!)\n\n\n\n \nWhat to expect at an Open Mic Night:We get it. Walking into a new space\, especially alone\, can feel intimidating. But open mic nights are some of the most welcoming and low-pressure events you’ll find. No expectations\, no judgment – just a group of people coming together to enjoy music\, creativity\, and good vibes. \nYou’ll hear everything from original songs and acoustic covers to poetry\, comedy\, and spontaneous collaborations.
